What happens if my campaign does not reach its goal?
Your support is never lost. When a campaign ends — either because the time is up or because it has reached its goal — CIREC Foundation reviews the funds raised and decides the best course of action for the case. Support may be provided in full or in part, depending on the funds collected. If the planned intervention is not possible, the money goes towards supporting other people with disabilities who are part of our Social Impact Programmes.
Who can submit a case?
You can apply if you are a person with a disability, or if you are a family member or carer of a person with a disability who needs support. You must also be resident in Colombia, as the support is arranged and delivered within the country.
What do I need in order to apply?
You must complete the form with the information requested and, where applicable, attach medical, social or other supporting documents that help us understand the case better.
What should I bear in mind when submitting my case?
Submitting your case does not mean it will be published on the platform straight away. CIREC Foundation will first review your application to assess whether it is technically and socially viable. You must also complete all the required information, accept the Terms and Conditions, and bear in mind that the process has set timescales for review, campaign activation and closing the case.
Who manages the funds raised?
CIREC Foundation manages all funds raised through the platform and is responsible for allocating them responsibly to the support defined for each case.
Who decides how the support is used?
CIREC Foundation defines the course of action for each case based on technical, social and feasibility criteria, ensuring the support genuinely meets the applicant's need and achieves the greatest possible impact.
How long can the campaign run for?
A campaign can run for between 30 and 90 days. We will agree this period with you and the CIREC team, choosing the timeframe best suited to giving your case the greatest possible support.
