Social Participation in Health Policy (PPSS)
Its aim is to guarantee the right to social participation in health, strengthening the conditions for patients, families and communities to influence the management, oversight and decisions of the health system, improving the quality and relevance of the services they receive. (Resolution 2063 of 2017)
Accordingly, CIREC:
Adopts the social participation in health policy, promoting the participation of patients and families in institutional improvement processes.
Creates spaces for dialogue, listening and social oversight to strengthen quality and humanisation in care.
Promotes health education, self-care and user empowerment.
CIREC Users' Association – ASOCIREC
ASOCIREC is a social participation body made up of users, family members and carers, whose purpose is to promote the quality and humanisation of services, safeguard respect for patients' rights and duties, and strengthen communication between the institution and the user community.
Who can become a member?
Membership of ASOCIREC is open to users, family members or carers over the age of 18 who have received services in the last 12 months or who are currently receiving care at CIREC.
How to join?
Those interested can express their wish to take part through the User Services Office (email: atencion.usuario@cirec.org). The User
Services Office acts as a channel facilitating communication with the Association's Board, while always respecting ASOCIREC's autonomy, independence and participatory nature.
