Prevention
and peacebuilding
We deliver Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and Comprehensive Victim Assistance (AIV) activities in partnership with the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Peace, departmental and local authorities, and national and international cooperation agencies.
Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE)
We build the prevention and response capacity of individuals, institutions and communities, in order to reduce the harm caused by explosive ordnance in high-risk areas.
In partnership with the National Authority for Comprehensive Action against Antipersonnel Mines (AICMA), national and international cooperation
agencies, departmental governments and municipal authorities, we combine operational, technical and financial efforts that allow us to:
Save lives by promoting safe behaviour.
Improve people's quality of life by facilitating access to basic services: education, health, recreation and the means of production to generate income.
Comprehensive Victim Assistance (AIV)
We offer programmes for survivors of the conflict and people with disabilities to support inclusion through our Sanamos Vidas comprehensive rehabilitation model, by profiling and updating the current situation of the population.
We provide health services and specialised comprehensive rehabilitation in:
Physical healing:
Assessment, diagnosis, specialist consultation and delivery of assistive devices.
Emotional and spiritual healing:
Support through psychological first aid, clinical psychology, spiritual accompaniment and inner peace.
Social inclusion:
Financial support to access formal and non-formal education, help with income generation and livelihoods, and support towards employment inclusion.
With our partners' social impact investment:
We contribute to peacebuilding.
We open up opportunities to support the autonomy and independence of people with disabilities.
We develop the remaining abilities of people with disabilities, giving them visibility and allowing them to demonstrate their full potential for individual, family and social development.
Would you like to build a social impact sustainability strategy for prevention and peacebuilding with us?
Please provide your information and our team will contact you to guide and support you through the process.
