As a legally recognised non-profit organisation in Colombia, CIREC can issue donation certificates. Under article 257 of the Colombian Tax Code, donations made to the Foundation allow taxpayers to deduct up to 25% of the amount donated directly from the income tax payable for that tax year.
Our organisation is audited by the international statutory audit firm BDO and is subject to oversight by bodies such as the DIAN (Colombian tax authority) and other competent authorities. Our management is grounded in transparency, evidenced by our annual Management Reports and Financial Statements, which you can consult in the “Legal and Reports” section of our website.
