We transfer knowledge to doctors, health professionals and carers of people with disabilities in specialised comprehensive rehabilitation techniques, in order to leave lasting technical and intellectual capacity behind and improve the functioning of people with disabilities.

ENTRÉNATE Programme for
health professionals in the field
A specialised knowledge transfer programme in habilitation, rehabilitation and disability, aimed at non-specialist doctors (including rural, general and regional specialist practitioners), therapists, nurses and nursing assistants, in order to strengthen their clinical skills and their clinical, community and administrative capacity to respond to people with disabilities, by applying up-to-date guidance on early diagnosis and rehabilitation
Core topics:
We identify, train and support athletes with disabilities across different stages and disciplines of adaptive sport, promoting their physical, emotional and social development.
Defining and understanding the concept from the biopsychosocial model, reviewing the national and international legal framework with a human rights-centred approach.
Functional classification of conditions such as amputations, cerebral palsy, neurological injuries, degenerative diseases and congenital malformations, among others.
Application and assessment of functional tests for the early detection of cerebral palsy, neurological injuries and other developmental conditions.
Training and implementation of habilitation and functional rehabilitation principles, foundations of neurorehabilitation, prescription of assistive devices, and strengthening of interdisciplinary work with a community focus.

Implementation methodology
Through a blended online and in-person model of structured practical guides adapted to the local context, we train participants through:
