Greiber is a 19-year-old from Venezuela who arrived in Bogotá three years ago full of dreams of a better future with his family. Not long ago he was attacked without warning by a pack of stray dogs 200 metres from his home, causing severe infections and the amputation of both his arms and his ears.

He lives with his parents and two younger siblings, facing this enormous challenge with courage. With the support of CIREC Foundation, Greiber hopes to begin a comprehensive rehabilitation process that will help him regain his independence and quality of life, supported by a team of health professionals committed to his wellbeing.

Challenge
Greiber needs pre-prosthetic rehabilitation, psychological support and, in time, bionic or custom-fitted prosthetics to regain his independence.
Solution
Funding his comprehensive rehabilitation at CIREC (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work and psychology) and the subsequent fitting of prosthetics.
Impact
Greiber will be able to return to his studies, pursue a job and achieve functional independence, becoming a testament to resilience and an inspiration to other people with disabilities.
